Catering to athletes who are living an active lifestyle, means we’re always on the hunt for solutions to keep our readers moving. The BeetleBag is one of those innovative ideas for your bike, that we just had to share with our readers.
Whether you’re biking to the farmer’s market, or headed out for a quick bite after a workout, we loved the overall versatility of the BeetleBag. Simple to take on and off your top tube, this bike bag has plenty of space in the large cargo pockets to fit a pair of sandals and a spare top, as well as the smaller essentials like keys, nutrition and a wallet. We’ve seen, and reviewed, other bike bags of course, but the ability to move from one activity to another so seamlessly, was a big reason why this bag was a favorite among our testers: “The BeetleBag is such a great product. I love that it frees me from having to haul a backpack while riding my bike, but I can still bring all my essentials with me…The padded back panel was a nice touch as well, and I liked the minimalist, vented shoulder straps. Great product!”
Another tester commented, “I have a small saddle bag, but it’s far too much of a pain to get on and off—I usually end up cramming a few bills and a house key, so it’s all I have to carry with me out to lunch. With the BeetleBag, I can throw in all my essentials for a full day and not have to worry about anyone rifling through my saddlebag while I’m grabbing a bite with friends. Pretty cool.”
While the BeetleBag is not intended to fit a pair of runners, we did our best to cram in a pair for a potential brick workout, and they came so close to fitting, but it was a no go. That being said, the bike bag was still so useful, it wasn’t a deal-breaker by any means. Still, if you’re listening BeetleBag, we’d love to see an equally innovative solution for hauling a pair of runners, since the slim profile of the current design is certainly a consideration.
Overall, the BeetleBag was a hit with our bike-enthusiast testers and we look forward to seeing more equally impressive products from this company in the future. The BeetleBag currently comes in one size and four colors.
