GU Stroopwafel

This is my favorite energy snack.  I use GU gels religiously in races and long distance adventures.  But when you need something that really satisfies the hunger get the COCONUT stroopwafel.  Delicious and technically lighter than a gel with more calories.  This is a great winter time snack.  Just set it on top of your hot drink and the steam will soften if up nice and tasty.  Try the other flavors.  They even have a Gingerade.  I never get tired of eating these.  They are always SUPER YUMMY!!!  box of 16 for $24.00

HANES Active comfort tights

All types of athletes need support.  HANES has developed affordable tights that even provide light compression.  These are the most affordable tights I have ever tested.  With X-temp moisture-wicking the tights adapt to different temperatures. Tagless waistband and easy on and off.  Comfortable soft seams prevent chaffing. To help preserve and protect our parks for future generations, HanesBrands has partnered with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, to support America’s most treasured places.  The tights are available at & Amazon.  With a suggested retail price of $17.99 this is a great value.

The company that makes our favorite bar tape also has some terrific MTB full finger glove options.    Great high quality gloves with great grip, ventilation, and comfort.  The two fingers that go on the brakes even have a little patch of silicone grip that makes gripping the brakes better.  Depending on which style you want they range from about 24.99-34.99 US Everybody needs new MTB gloves for 2019.

They have a great selection of nutritious energy bars.  These make great stocking stuffers.  The flavors are unique.  Picky Bars puts together quality ingredients in a very unique way.  They have a great selection of flavors so your taste buds never get bored.  They just revamped the wrapper and added a few new flavors.  I really like their oatmeal called picky oats.  A really great gift is getting someone a monthly ship option of their favorite bars.

This is one of the coolest shirts I have ever tested!  Made from 8 recycled plastic bottles.  This shirt looks great after multiple washes.  The material is recycled plastic and recycled cotton.  This shirt is eco-friendly.  It has a classic look with everyday wear ability.  The material doesn’t pill up after serious wears & washing.  It stays smooth and soft.  Check out the great variety of styles for men & women.

This endurance drink mix is definitely worth trying.  The flavors are great.  If you have GI issues in the long races you should take a look at this formula.  It was created with long distance racing in mind. They just released a recovery formula REBUILD.  This formula is great for post workout.  They come in single serve packs 6 for $18.00 US.  I really like this blend.  The single serve stick packs are really convenient for travel.  This can definitely help you recover and rebuild better.

WATERSHED McKenzie duffel

Watershed makes some of the best dry bags on the planet.  This McKenzie bike handlebar bag is a game changer.  Watershed has Zipdry technology, the same that is used to make bags for the Navy Seals.  The McKenzie can pack a bunch and comfortably go on the front of your bike.  This is a fully waterproof bag with secure handlebar clasps.  These clasps hold the duffel in place even on serious terrain.   The bag has adjustable straps to secure small loads or larger loads.  Pack it all in the McKenzie can handle it.  The material is very durable so this duffel keeps your stuff dry and protected.  This is a great bike packing piece or just a nice way to pack a picnic up the trail.  This is a great gift for the one that has everything.
