Sometimes, what a long week calls for is a comfy t-shirt, a tin-foil dinner, and a campfire. This is exactly why we reached out to Mana Loa for some down-time, waunderlust-driven casual wear. The relaxed vibe of the men’s Mana Loa collection–including the Sierra Raglan–evokes the feeling of a chill, Thai yoga retreat. The women’s collection boasts yoga pants, and enough kaleidoscopic designs on the racerback t’s to keep your closet full of happy year round. The goal of Mana Loa is to encourage customers to adopt an attitude of exploration, in a world where our, “high stress, competitive society has left many feeling lost and powerless.” Their website ‘mantra’ continues, “We believe the way to cure this modern malady is to get outside our respective cities, explore new places, meet new people, and immerse ourselves in new cultures.”
As far as the product itself is concerned, our tester found the Sierra Raglan T-shirt immediately comfortable, and fit true to size. Made of soft, ribbed cotton at the neck, it’s well-made, with no bulky seams. Since the T-shirt is 100% cotton, I would recommend hang drying to prevent the dreaded shrinkage.
