Saucony KINVARA 8 great wherever your running takes you

The NEW Kinvara 8 has EVERUN throughout the topsole.  This is the first version with the MARL option.  The gray heather style and color is now available in several major updates for Saucony.

I have really enjoyed every version of the KINVARA over the last several years.  They have become my race day shoe.  I throw my quick laces in them and use them almost exclusively for triathlon races.

The NEW MARL style has brought the KINVARA into a new light.  I like all the cool bright colors and styles that Saucony throws together but, the NEW MARL is understated.  The mellow gray makes this a shoe that doesn’t say “hey, everybody I am a runner!”

The KINVARA 8 in MARL is great for all your running, racing, and walking.  I took it with me on a recent vacation to London.  It was my shoe for walking and high mileage tourism.  This shoe is awesome day after day.  Because I was traveling I wore it for several days in a row.  The EVERUN energy return is legitimate.  These running shoes were comfortable all day with consistent cushioning.

The Saucony KINVARA 8 seems a little more durable than the last few updates. Particularly the upper. The upper is completely updated.  With smoother lines and a little sliver of support on the arch side that blends the upper into the sole.  The internal strap system works very smoothly with the upper to hug the foot without any pinching.  The fit is excellent.

Here are the specs:

  • Neutral
  • Pronation: Neutral
  • Cushion: Responsive
  • Construction Type: Natural Motion
  • Surface: Road, Track
  • Arch: High, Normal (Mid)
  • Offset: 4mm

The price of the KINVARA 8 is $110 US.  I have not found a running shoe with this much value built in.  This light weight Neutral shoe will deliver for you wherever you travel.
